Puget Sound Firearms has you covered! Whether you are looking to ship a firearm, have a firearm shipped to you or just looking for a local shop to facilitate a private party transfer, we’re here to help!

Private Party Transfers

Face-to-face private transfers are by appointment only.
We can accept shipments from private individuals (non-licensees) as permitted by law.

Please ensure the seller provides:
– A clear copy of their current state-issued ID
– A completed and signed bill of sale for the firearm

Incoming FFL Transfers

Buying a firearm online or from another dealer?

We’ll need:
– The shipping FFL to email us a copy of their license to info@pugetsoundfirearms.com

– The shipping dealer to request a copy of our FFL (call 360-203-5959 or email us)

Once your firearm is on the way or has arrived, please book your transfer appointment.

Outgoing FFL Transfers

Need to ship a firearm to another dealer?

– Transfer fee: $15 plus actual shipping
– All shipments are insured and require adult signature
– We provide boxes and packing materials
– We only ship to other FFLs and require a copy of the receiving dealer’s license

NFA Transfers

As a Special Occupational Taxpayer (SOT), we are licensed to handle transfers of NFA-regulated items such as suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and other qualifying firearms.

Whether you purchased from an online dealer, another FFL, or are completing a private NFA transfer, we’ll coordinate the paperwork, receive the item on your behalf, and complete the required background check and forms before transfer. Our goal is to make the NFA process as simple and compliant as possible from start to finish.

All NFA transfers must comply with federal, state, and local laws. Approval times and requirements are set by the ATF and may vary.

Once your firearm is on the way or has arrived at our shop,
please book a transfer appointment to complete the 4473 and background check.

Need to ship a firearm to another dealer? We can handle that for you.

– Transfer fee: $15 plus actual shipping costs
– All shipments are insured and require adult signature
– We provide appropriate boxes and packing materials
– We only ship to other Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs)
– We’ll need an emailed copy of the receiving dealer’s FFL before we ship

We’ll confirm shipping options and total costs with you before the firearm leaves our shop.

Whether you purchased from an online dealer, another FFL, or are completing a private NFA transfer, we’ll:
– Coordinate with the seller or dealer
– Help prepare and submit the required ATF forms
– Receive the item on your behalf, and
– Complete the final transfer once your ATF approval is issued
